1teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
For the Topping
½cupfreshly grated Parmesan cheese
2tablespoonsfresh parsleychopped
For Serving
1lemoncut into wedges
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes. If using frozen shrimp, thaw completely and pat very dry with paper towels to help them crisp properly.
Place the shrimp in a large bowl with olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated. If the shrimp release extra moisture, blot lightly again before adding the cheese.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the shrimp and toss gently so the cheese sticks to the surface. Some loose cheese will crisp up beautifully during cooking.
Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding. Cook in batches if needed for even airflow and browning.
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. The shrimp should look pink, opaque, and lightly golden around the edges. Avoid overcooking, as shrimp can turn rubbery quickly.
Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve hot with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.
