1teaspoondried thyme
1teaspoonpaprikasmoked optional
½teaspoonsalt
¼teaspoonblack pepper
Optional: 1 tablespoon fresh parsleychopped, for garnish
Optional: Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
Cut the chicken into 1-inch cubes, keeping pieces even for uniform cooking, and place them in a medium bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper until combined.
Pour the marinade over the chicken, tossing to coat, then cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours—no longer, to avoid altering the texture.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between pieces for proper air circulation.
Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and reaching 165°F (74°C). If needed, cook 1–2 minutes longer, checking frequently.
Remove from the basket and let rest for 2 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with lemon wedges.
