Ingredients
4slicessourdough bread
2tablespoonsunsalted buttersoftened
2tablespoonsapple butter
4ouncesBrie cheeserind trimmed and sliced
1small appleGranny Smith or Honeycrisp, thinly sliced (optional)
1teaspoonfresh thyme leavesoptional
Instructions
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Butter one side of each sourdough slice.
Spread apple butter on the unbuttered side of two slices.
Top with Brie, optional apple slices, and thyme.
Close sandwiches with remaining bread, buttered side out.
Grill 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cheese melts.
