1lblean ground beef
1cupsharp cheddar cheeseshredded
1medium onionchopped
2clovesgarlicminced
2cupsfrozen mixed vegetables
2cupsBisquick mix
¾cupwhole milk
1cuplow-sodium beef broth
1tbspWorcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Sauté onion and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until soft and fragrant, 2–3 minutes.
Add ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned, 6–8 minutes. Drain fat if needed.
Stir in frozen vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
Pour in beef broth and simmer 5 minutes until slightly thickened but still saucy.
Mix Bisquick with milk until thick but pourable. Fold in cheddar cheese. Add more milk if batter feels stiff.
Transfer beef mixture to baking dish. Spoon biscuit batter evenly over the top.
Bake 25–30 minutes until biscuits are puffed and golden and filling bubbles around edges.
Rest 5 minutes before serving. Scoop warm portions.
