8slicesdeli-style turkey
4slicesSwiss cheese
1cuppanko breadcrumbs
2large eggs
1cupflour
½cupmilk
4tablespoonsbutter
1teaspoongarlic powder
Salt and pepperto taste
Instructions
Flatten each chicken breast between plastic wrap to about ½ inch thick for even cooking.
Place two slices of turkey and one slice of Swiss cheese on each breast, then roll tightly and secure with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
Set up three bowls: flour, beaten eggs with milk, and panko breadcrumbs with garlic powder. Coat each roll in flour, dip in egg mixture, then press into breadcrumbs.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook rolls 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown to seal in moisture and add flavor.
Transfer rolls to a greased baking dish and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
For the Swiss cheese sauce, melt remaining butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk and Swiss cheese, stirring until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Remove toothpicks or twine, slice rolls into thick pieces, drizzle with sauce, and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
