For the Chicken:
4bonelessskinless chicken breasts
1tablespoonolive oil
Salt and pepperto taste
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoononion powder
1teaspoondried thymeor your favorite herb
For the Noodles:
8ozegg noodlesor your preferred pasta
4tablespoonsunsalted butter
2tablespoonsolive oil
1teaspoongarlicminced
½teaspoonsaltor to taste
Freshly ground black pepperto taste
Fresh parsley or basilchopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the egg noodles for 8–10 minutes until al dente.
Drain and set aside, keeping a bit of pasta water. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for about 6–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Let it rest, then slice. In the same skillet, melt butter with olive oil, add minced garlic, and sauté for a minute until fragrant.
Toss in the noodles, coating them evenly in the butter mixture. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed and season with salt and pepper.
Serve the noodles topped with sliced chicken and a sprinkle of fresh parsley or basil.
