For the blondie layer
1½cupsall purpose flour 7.5 oz
1tspbaking powder
½tsptable salt
12tbspunsalted butter 6 oz
1½cupspacked light brown sugar 10.5 oz
2large eggs lightly beaten
2tspvanilla extract
1tspgrated orange zest
¾cupdried cranberries 3.5 oz loosely packed
1⅓cupswhite chocolate chopped or chips 8 oz
For the frosting
8ozcream cheese softened
1½cupsconfectioners’ sugar sifted 6 oz
1tspvanilla extract
1tbsporange juice
1tsporange zest finely grated
⅔cupwhite chocolate melted 4 oz
For the topping
½cupdried cranberries roughly chopped 2.3 oz loosely packed
1⅔cupswhite chocolate melted 10 oz
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line and spray a 9×13-inch pan with parchment.
Brown 12 tbsp butter until golden and nutty; cool completely.
Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix butter with brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and orange zest.
Fold dry into wet, stir in white chocolate and cranberries. Spread in pan and bake 18–22 min. Cool.
Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, orange juice, and zest. Spread over bars.
Top with dried cranberries and drizzle melted white chocolate. Chill 30 min.
