Ingredients
For the Oreo Truffle Filling
36Oreo cookies14.3 oz package, including cream filling
8ozcream cheesesoftened
1 to 2tablespoonsBaileys Irish Cream liqueur
For the Coating
12ozgreen candy melts or white chocolate melting wafers
2 to 3drops green gel food coloring if using white chocolate
1teaspooncoconut oil or shorteningoptional for smoother coating
For Decoration
Greenwhite, and orange sprinkles
Optional gold dustshamrock candies, or crushed candy
Non Alcoholic Alternative
Replace Baileys with 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or almond extract
Instructions
Crush Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or ziplock and rolling pin.
Mix crumbs with softened cream cheese and Baileys until smooth and dough-like.
Chill the mixture for 30 minutes to firm it up.
Scoop and roll into balls, then place on a parchment-lined tray.
Freeze for 15–20 minutes or refrigerate for 30–45 minutes until firm.
Melt green candy melts (or white chocolate with green coloring) until smooth.
Dip each truffle, tap off excess, and place back on parchment.
Top with sprinkles while coating is still wet.
Let set at room temperature or refrigerate until hardened, then serve.
