Instructions
Prepare the freeze-dried blueberries by blending them into a fine violet powder with a light tart scent.
In a large bowl, mix oats, protein powder, blueberry powder, and chia or flax seeds until well combined. In another bowl, whisk together applesauce (or mashed banana), cream cheese, and honey (or maple syrup) until smooth and creamy.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until the mixture is thick and sticky but still workable.
Gently fold in the thawed, drained blueberries for a pop of juice and color. If the mixture feels too dry, add milk a tablespoon at a time until it holds together easily.
Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls and arrange them on a parchment-lined plate. In a small bowl, whisk cream cheese, milk, vanilla, and powdered sugar until you get a smooth glaze.
Refrigerate the bites for 30 minutes to firm them up, then drizzle with glaze and top each with a fresh blueberry.
Chill again for about 10 minutes if you prefer a firmer glaze. Keep them refrigerated and enjoy as a cool, creamy, protein-packed treat anytime.
