Ingredients
2½poundsYukon gold potatoesthinly sliced
4tablespoonsbutter
3tablespoonsall purpose flour
2½cupshalf and half
1½cupsMonterey Jack cheeseshredded
1½cupsColby cheddar cheeseshredded
1½teaspoonssalt
½teaspoonblack pepper
½teaspoonpaprika
½teaspoononion powder
½teaspoongarlic powder
Instructions
Heat oven to 375°F and butter a 9 x 13 inch dish.
Melt butter, whisk in flour, add half and half and some cheese.
Season potatoes and toss evenly.
Layer half the potatoes and add half the sauce.
Add remaining potatoes, sauce, and cheese.
Bake covered, then uncovered until tender and bubbly.
