For the Chicken:
1 ½lbschicken tendersor chicken breasts cut into strips
2cupsDoritosNacho Cheese is classic, but any flavor works
1cupall-purpose flour
2large eggs
2tbspmilk
1tspgarlic powder
1tsponion powder
1tsppaprika
Salt & pepperto taste
For Serving (optional):
Ranch dressing
Spicy mayo
Buffalo sauce
Honey mustard
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Place Doritos in a zip-top bag and crush into coarse crumbs. Pour into a shallow bowl.
In another bowl, mix flour with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In a second bowl, whisk eggs with milk. Keep crushed Doritos in the third bowl.
Dredge chicken strips in seasoned flour, dip into egg mixture, then roll in Doritos, pressing gently so the coating sticks.
For baking, preheat oven to 400°F (200°C), place tenders on a greased sheet, spray with oil, and bake 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
For air frying, preheat to 375°F (190°C) and cook tenders 10–12 minutes, flipping once.
For deep frying, heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry tenders 3–4 minutes per side until golden, then drain on paper towels.
