8slicesbrioche or challah bread
4ozcream cheesesoftened
2tbsppowdered sugarplus more for dusting
½cupfresh strawberriessliced
¼cupstrawberry jam
2large eggs
3tbspmilk
2tbspbutterfor frying
Instructions
Mix cream cheese and 2 tbsp powdered sugar until smooth.
Spread cream cheese on 4 bread slices. Add strawberries and jam, then top with remaining slices.
Whisk eggs and milk in a shallow dish.
Dip sandwiches in egg mixture, coating both sides.
Melt 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry 2–3 minutes per side until golden. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
