For the Shrimp
1lblarge shrimppeeled and deveined
2tbspolive oil

1cupheavy cream
½cupgrated Parmesan cheese

For the Mashed Potatoes
2lbspotatoespeeled and cubed
½cupwarm milk
¼cupbutter

Instructions
Boil cubed potatoes in salted water for about 15 minutes, until fork-tender. Drain, mash with butter and warm milk until smooth and fluffy. Season with salt and cover to keep warm.
Toss shrimp with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and golden. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Add Parmesan and Dijon mustard, stirring until smooth and slightly thickened, about 3–5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Optional: Add a splash of white wine or a pinch of red chili flakes for extra depth.
Spoon mashed potatoes onto each plate, top with shrimp, and pour the creamy garlic sauce over. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves.
