Ingredients
1lbchicken breast or thighscut into bite sized pieces
2cupsfresh cheese tortellini
4clovesgarlicminced
4tablespoonsbutter
1teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes
2cupschicken broth
1cupheavy cream
1cupgrated Parmesan cheese
1tablespoonfresh basil or parsleychopped
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Season chicken with salt and pepper, sauté in butter for 6–8 minutes until cooked through, then set aside.
Melt more butter, sauté garlic for 30 seconds, stir in red pepper flakes.
Pour in broth, scrape up browned bits, add cream, and bring to a simmer.
Add tortellini and cook for 4–6 minutes until tender.
Return chicken to pot and stir to coat.
Add Parmesan and stir until melted and sauce is creamy.
