1tspFresh thymechopped
1tspPaprika
1tspSalt
½tspBlack pepper
2tbspButter
1tspLemon juiceoptional
Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and chopped thyme.
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Place the pork chops in the skillet. Sear for 3–4 minutes on the first side until golden brown. Flip and sear the second side for 3–4 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium. Add 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic. Spoon the melted butter over the pork chops while cooking for another 1–2 minutes.
Use a meat thermometer to ensure an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) for medium doneness. If needed, transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 5–8 minutes.
Remove pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes. This helps retain juices and flavor.
Drizzle with 1 tsp lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
