2eggs
1cupgranulated sugar
8tablespoonssoftened butter
2tablespoonssour creamheaping
1tablespoonmayonnaiseheaping
1teaspoonbaking powder
4cupsall-purpose flour
1heaping teaspoon baking soda diluted in 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Apricot Dulce De Leche Filling
2ouncescream cheese
2tablespoonssoftened butter
5ouncesdulce de leche
2tablespoonsapricot jam
3ouncesCool Whip
Decoration
1cupmilk
Red food coloring
Orange food coloring
¾cupgranulated sugar
Whisk eggs and sugar until lightthen mix in butter, sour cream, mayonnaise, and lemon-activated baking soda.
Add flour and baking powdermixing until a soft dough forms.
Roll into balls and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes until golden.
While warmcarve out cookie centers and let them cool.
Beat butter and cream cheesethen add dulce de leche, apricot jam, and fold in Cool Whip.
Fill cookies with cream and press two halves together to form peach shapes; chill 2 hours.
Dip cookies in red and orange-tinted milkthen briefly rest on paper towels.
Roll in sugar for sparkle and refrigerate before serving.
