1sheet store bought puff pastrythawed
4ozcream cheeseroom temperature
2tablespoonswhite sugar
½teaspoonvanilla extract
Red food coloringoptional
½cupdiced strawberries
1large egg
1tablespooncold water
Instructions
Thaw puff pastry, preheat oven to 400°F, and line a baking sheet.
Beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla, then fold in half of the strawberries.
Roll pastry lightly, cut heart shapes, and score a border.
Fill centers with cream cheese mixture and top with remaining strawberries.
