Another great thing about Oreo balls is that they only require 3 ingredient, along with being very simple no bake treats that anyone can make!

They’re perfect for you to make for a Christmas party that you’re holding or attending. Or great to package up and take to your neighbors as a holiday gift.

TO MAKE REINDEER OREO BALLS, YOU WILL NEED

  • 24 OREO mint cookies
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 24 oz melting chocolates
  • 48 candy eyes
  • 24 chocolate candy noses
  • 24 pretzels

HOW DO YOU MAKE REINDEER OREO BALLS?

Step 1: Place the OREO cookies into a food processor and blend until they are finely crushed. Add the cream cheese and continue to blend until completely combined.

Step 2: Use a small cookie scoop and scoop and roll each scoop into a 1″ ball. Place them on a prepared cookie sheet. Should make about 24 balls. Place them into the freezer for 10 minutes.

Step 3: Melt the chocolate. Remove the truffles from the freezer and dip the truffles into the chocolate. Place the truffles onto the prepared cookie sheet. Once finished, place them back into the freezer for an additional 10 minutes.

Step 4: Pour the remaining melted chocolate into a decorating bag.

Step 5: Use the decorating bag to add chocolate to the sides of a truffle. Add the broken pretzels for the antlers. Add 2 dabs of chocolate for the candy eyes. Finally, add a dab of chocolate for the nose.

Step 6: Place the reindeer truffles into the refrigerator until they are ready to be served.

RECIPE NOTES AND HELPFUL TIPS:

If you chill the cookie balls for longer than an hour prior to dipping in chocolate, you might want to let them warm up a bit.

If the balls are too cold, the chocolate will harden too quickly and it’ll be harder to attach the pretzel antlers. You do want the balls to be chilled enough that they are easy to dip into the chocolate though.
