- 1 pound ground Italian sausage
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 green bell pepper (diced)
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 8 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 1/4 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce
- 1 3/4 cups water
- 1 (2.5 ounces) can slice of black olives (drained)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

- 20 slices pepperoni

Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 onion diced
- 1 green bell pepper diced
- 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup 1 can
- 8 ounces Zatarain’s Yellow Rice Mix 1 box, (or your favorite yellow rice)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 15 ounces whole kernel corn drained, 1 can
- green onions diced, optional garnish
Instructions:
- Use nonstick cooking spray to coat the slow cooker. Chicken should be in the bottom, followed by green pepper and onion dice. Put the soup on top of the vegetables in the slow cooker and cover it with the lid.
- Cook for 5 to 6 hours on low or 3 to 4 hours on high.
- Prepare rice according to package directions while the chicken is cooking.
- Remove the cooked chicken from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks. Add cooked rice, cheese, and corn to the slow cooker after adding the shredded chicken back in. Combine everything, then plate.
